In 1980 a free newspaper was launched called the High Wycombe Star, which distributed over 100,000 copies throughout the area. To back this up impetus had been given, to the attraction of The Bucks Free Press by the more recent introduction of more localised editions for Marlow and Princes Risborough, while readers reguarly received special supplements of wide ranging interest |
